TTE Switch Lab 2.0
Vienna, Austria, July 31, 2020: TTTech announces the official release of its TTESwitch A664 Lab v2.0 for aerospace laboratory testing and development. This sixth-generation switch is already being used by several customers in their applications. It fully supports networks based on COTS Ethernet cards and allows a faster transition from technology evaluation to a certifiable flight switch and network solution.

TTTech and Cranfield University have established an R&D partnership in the area of embedded networks and related technologies. The university’s Aerospace Integrated Research Center (AIRC) conducts further studies on the integration of system and platforms into aerospace applications on a TTEDevelopment System A664 v4.1 for Linux. Current research efforts deal with the development of solutions that can be applied to drones.

TTTech congratulates Bombardier on this success and is proud to be on board with deterministic TTP (SAE AS6003) databus network for the Parker fly-by-wire (FBW) system and Collins Aerospace Flight Control Computer. The Bombardier Global aircraft flew for 15,764 km (8,152 nm) nonstop, making it the longest flight a business jet has ever completed.
