TTTech Industrial Automation AG announced it has acquired core technology and strategic customers from Nebbiolo Technologies in May. It also founded a US subsidiary in Silicon Valley to expand its activities in North America. One of the co-founders of Nebbiolo Technologies, Kannan Devarajan, has joined TTTech Industrial North America Inc. as Managing Director.

TTTech Aerospace has appointed industry expert Aaron Tsang as VP Engineering & Product Development Aerospace. He will lead the aerospace and space research and development team at TTTech Group’s headquarters in Vienna, Austria from May 10, 2021.

TTTech has won the prestigious Living Standards Award 2021 in the category “IEEE Standards”. This was revealed in a digital awards ceremony on January 21, 2021 hosted by award giver Austrian Standards. The award honors TTTech’s standardization efforts in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

The award honors TTTech’s standardization efforts in the IEEE, most notably in the area of Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), which guarantees safe and reliable information transmission within a network and thus enables novel functionalities in many application areas, like in the automotive domain and in industrial automation.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing TTTech Auto with €30 million of funding for further growth. The funding will foster TTTech Auto’s continuous innovation and help grow its global footprint based on technological advances. These include the further development of its safety software platform MotionWise and the potential introduction of additional leading-edge software products.

The 12th Peter Drucker Forum was held online from October 28 to 30 2020. Named after Austrian-born American management consultant Peter Drucker, the Forum is one of the world’s premier management conferences. TTTech CEO and Co-founder Georg Kopetz participated in a panel discussion titled “Regaining Industry Leadership – A European Challenge”.

Each year, the Business Superbrands Austria Award is given to Austrian companies that stand out due to their exceptional brand image that sets them apart from the competition. TTTech was recently announced as one of the 2020 winners. Kurt Doppelbauer, Senior Director Corporate Marketing at TTTech, accepted the Superbrands certificate on behalf of the TTTech Group Board.

Markus Gstöttner, Economic Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff at the Austrian Federal Chancellery, visited the TTTech Global Headquarters located in the 4th District of Vienna, Austria, on October 1, 2020. TTTech co-founder and CEO Georg Kopetz gave him a brief tour of the company premises, followed by an open discussion at TTTech’s “Innovation Space” showroom.

Vienna, Austria / Houston, TX, USA, June 26, 2020: Industry expert Robert T. (Bob) Richards has been appointed Vice President, Space at TTTech North America and will head a newly opened office and development lab in Houston, Texas. The office directly supports NASA’s Johnson Space Center as well as U.S. prime contractors involved in cislunar and lunar surface exploration.

TTTech Auto acquires the Turkish software company Red Pine Software. TTTech Auto continues its growth strategy with this acquisition and increases its software development capacities for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving (AD) series development projects featuring its flagship product MotionWise. Red Pine and its 60 employees are experts in automotive embedded software engineering with a focus on ADAS.
