IT Business Application Specialist (m/f/d)
We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Business Applications Specialist who is passionate about driving digital transformation and process automation in an international and technology-driven company.Your Tasks
- Lead and oversee IT projects, from planning to execution, ensuring successful delivery within established timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct thorough analyses, and propose effective IT solutions to meet business need.
- Drive the organization's digital transformation efforts, leveraging emerging technologies and innovative approaches to enhance business processes and competitiveness.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new IT tools and technologies to enhance business operations and support growth objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and lead initiatives to streamline workflows and improve productivity, e.g., with tools like Power Automate and other M365 apps.
- Maintain clear and open communication with various stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, management, and vendors, to align IT initiatives with company goals.
- Create comprehensive documentation of IT processes, system configurations, and project outcomes to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in IT consulting, project management, business analysis, or a similar role within a corporate setting
- Proven track record of driving IT projects or digital transformation initiatives
- Passion for staying up to date with the latest technological trends and a strong desire to implement transformative solutions in an international setting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Experience with either Microsoft 365 Applications, SAP ERP/CRM, Jira, or Confluence

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 50,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
