Functional Safety Engineer – Electronics (m/f/d)
Are you passionate about Functional Safety and Electronics Development? If so, then join our team and play a pivotal role in product development projects focusing on ECUs and HMIs for the off-highway sector. You will be responsible for planning and executing safety-related activities across the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring our products meet the highest safety standards.
Your Tasks
- Creation of product-specific safety concepts and architectures
- Capture of development-specific requirements of safety-critical products
- Moderation and execution of qualitative and quantitative functional safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, FMEDA)
- Support of functional safety audits and assessments
- Compilation of technical documentation according to the requirements of CE Directives
Your Profile
- Degree in a related technical field of study, Master’s or above preferred
- Solid experience with electronics development, know-how in the area of software development is a plus
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 25119)
- Team player who enjoys analyzing problems and finding smart solutions
- Very good command in English language, German skills are a plus

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 49,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
