Field Application Engineer - Automotive (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Take lead in the 1st level support, debugging with customers and problem identification/ reproduction
  • Supporting customer onsite in using TTTech Auto products
  • Performing analysis of bus traces and logs
  • Manage Jira tickets for tasks or issues in terms of logging hours, remaining efforts, and comments
  • Support technical communication with customers on behalf of TTTech Auto
  • Support Technical Lead in defining tasks
  • Debugging of system behavior with various stakeholders (Hardware- / Feature- / OS-Suppliers / Customer)
  • Technical alignment of onsite tasks between the relevant stakeholders, development and customers
  • Participating actively in system workshops with other stakeholders and customers
  • Adhere to all software development processes and practices defined by internal decision makers

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Highly customer-oriented knowledge and experience in automotive processes and standards
  • Experience with debugging and analysis tools used in the automotive industry (e.g. CANoe/CANape, Trace32, ODIS)
  • Experience with bus systems and protocols (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, SOMEIP)
  • Experience with AUTOSAR CP/AP and system modeling
  • Strong familiarity with in-car and testbench testing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with POSIX systems (QNX, Linux) is an advantage
  • Programming skills (e.g. C/C++, phyton) are an advantage
  • German driving license class B is a must
  • Good skills in German and English
