Director Product & Engineering – Energy Management (m/f/d)
A profitable, new product business in energy management is on the horizon. As a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership and strongly contribute to the growth of TTTech’s newly established Energy Management business. Taking over this management role will acquire your ability to understand the energy market and your key customers, keep the big picture in mind, driving and ensure that the vision and mission of both the company and our customers will become a reality.
Your Tasks
- Shape the vision and goals for the assigned area of responsibility, in particular strategy and business planning, jointly with the other managing director to ensure funding and profitable operations
- Design and own business cases and roadmap for product and service portfolio and drive its budget-conscious and efficient execution, taking into account build-buy-partner decisions
- Lead product engineering (scope, roadmap and investment) as well as engineering services and technical sales/business development
- Guide and coordinate the development teams in various locations (e.g. Austria, Serbia) and ensure close collaboration with TTTech´s other business entities, service departments and product development partners
- Identify market trends and innovative practices in the development of energy management solutions
- Deeply understand stakeholder and customer needs, translating them into products and services
- Determine competitive positioning of products in alignment with commercial management (commercial product management)
- Support eco-system build-up owned by commercial management and sales/business development
- Provide regular reporting and status quo on running activities to internal and external stakeholders
- Fulfill the managing director role for the legal entity in charge of this business area
Your Profile
- University Degree in a technical field (e.g. computer engineering, electronics or similar)
- At least 10 years of professional experience in product management, product business development and/or sales execution,
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, preferably in a technical scale-up environment
- Experience in the energy sector would be advantageous
- Strong commercial understanding and experience with building up new business ventures
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced and constantly evolving high-growth environment
- Strong leadership mentality and fast experience in growing and developing teams
- Excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management and strong customer focus
- Willingness to travel (up to 30-50%)
- Excellent German and English language skills

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 80,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
