Technical Sales Manager – Aerospace in Japan

If you are a strong sales personality, with passion for the Aviation & Space industry, then come and join us! In this exciting role you will be able to build up new opportunities for our Business Unit Aerospace on the Japanese market while benefiting from your vast knowledge and experiences in an international environment. This goes along with continuous exchange and in close collaboration with the TTTech Headquarter in Europe.

Your Tasks

  • Development of existing and new business opportunities in the Aerospace industry in Japan
  • Recommendation of complex TTTech product offerings in line with the technical and commercial requirements of customers
  • Leading of the sales funnel from strategy, lead generation and opportunity management to business models and financial customer planning
  • Responsibility for contract negotiations, closing of contracts and invoicing
  • Handling of sales operations such as PO, delivery, and customer claims
  • Development and maintenance of the TTTech brand image
  • Responsibility for the account sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting in the CRM system
  • Close alignment with TTTech HQ in Europe, especially in the field of product offering and features

Your Profile

  • University degree in a field like Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Aerospace engineering is a plus 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales or business development role in a technical environment, preferably in the Aerospace or Space industry
  • Relevant market know-how of the Aviation and Space industry
  • Familiarity with writing and closing complex proposals and offers
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and technical understanding combined with a customer and solution-oriented way of working
  • Strong sales and communication skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (approx. 30 – 50%)
  • Excellent English and Japanese language skills
