The TTESwitch Controller Space is an integrated device supporting three traffic classes: standard Ethernet, rate-constrained* and time-triggered SAE AS6802 Time-Triggered Ethernet Standard compliant communication. The controller supports 6x 10/100/1,000 Mbit/s and 19x 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet ports and is able to switch all full-duplex ports at line-rate at the same time leading to a cross-sectional data rate of more than 14 Gbit/s. The integrated CPU is responsible for the switch management and diagnostics via SNMP and TFTP Ethernet standards. The chip has been designed to withstand harsh radiation environments and is therefore based on a radiation hardened design process.
