Transforming human-machine interaction with extended reality technology
The new research project THEIAXR aims to improve human-machine interaction in mobile machinery by enhancing user technology fit and extended reality (XR) technologies and functionalities. The project’s goal is to make the invisible visible and extend the perceivable range of the human operator without impacting their performance. The three-year project is funded with a total of six million euros from the European Commission’s Horizon Europe program.

SENAV project visual
TTTech is one of the project partners in the Horizon Europe project SENAV  – a new space science and exploration technologies project aiming to improve safety and performance of landers, drones, and robot control systems. The project kicked off in Hannover in December 2022. Until 2025, the consortium will develop a range of solutions in smart space exploration navigation.

Sephy Chip
After a duration of almost four years, the EU funded project to create a Space Ethernet Physical Layer Transceiver (SEPHY) was completed at the end of 2018. A prototype chip was developed and built by the project partners from industry and academia which can now be qualified for space applications, but also for use in other environments where harsh conditions like radiation place special requirements on communication devices.
