TTTech is technical coordinator in the Horizon Europe project SENAV  – a new space science and exploration technologies project aiming to improve safety and performance of landers, drones, and robot control systems. The project kicked off in Hannover in December 2022. Until 2025, the consortium will develop a range of solutions in smart space exploration navigation.

Car and rail Over-the-Air software updates may soon become safer and more secure thanks to the results of the EU-funded UP2DATE project. The first project milestones were presented to the Industrial Advisory Board in an online conference this summer.

The Autonomous is a global community shaping the future of safe autonomous mobility. Apart from its annual event in Vienna, The Autonomous also organizes Chapter Events dedicated to topics concerning safe automated driving and a global safety reference. The first of these was about "Safety Architectures" and was held as a virtual event, attracting around 180 participants.
The UP2DATE project team held its kick-off event in Bologna earlier this year. UP2DATE is an EU funded project that seeks to provide new software paradigms for safe and secure software updates of mixed-criticality cyber-physical systems (MCCPS) found in the automotive and rail sectors.

After a duration of almost four years, the EU funded project to create a Space Ethernet Physical Layer Transceiver (SEPHY) was completed at the end of 2018. A prototype chip was developed and built by the project partners from industry and academia which can now be qualified for space applications, but also for use in other environments where harsh conditions like radiation place special requirements on communication devices.

More than 50 years after the Convention on Road Traffic was concluded, Vienna, Austria was again the epicenter of discussing and enhancing the future of mobility. “The Autonomous”, a global community shaping the future of safe autonomous mobility, gathered the leading players from the autonomous ecosystem with the goal to write the next chapter of automated driving by discussing a global safety reference.

The next generation of EXCOR heart pumps by Berlin Heart GmbH is based on the control platform of the company located in Vienna.
