TTTech is only the second company globally to receive Premium Partner status in Infineon’s partner ecosystem and the first company with a background in autonomous driving solutions and the Industrial Internet, working closely together with the automotive and off-highway industry. The Premium Partner announcement was made in the course of the “The Autonomous” event that brought together a global community shaping the future of safe, autonomous mobility. Infineon supported the event and organized one of the four key workshops with the topic of Safety and Security.

Infineon’s Partner Ecosystem comprises a global network of various successful industrial companies offering knowledge and experience in hardware, software, tools, services and end applications to design solutions based on Infineon products. “This premium partnership is the result of our deep technical cooperation and various successful joint product launches and deployments over the past years. We are very much looking forward to further intensifying our strategic partnership with Infineon as a key player in scaling safe and robust solutions for safety-relevant applications," says Georg Kopetz, CEO of TTTech.

"We are delighted to welcome TTTech to our partner ecosystem. This ecosystem comprises a global network of specialized companies from different disciplines that design solutions based on Infineon products. With TTTech, we work closely on solutions for the off-highway and automotive sector, particularly in order to accelerate the journey towards automated driving," added Peter Schäfer, Vice President and General Manager Microcontrollers at Infineon.

Infineon and TTTech look back on a successful collaboration of many years. Infineon invested in TTTech in 2015 and cooperated with TTTech Auto and TTControl (both operating under the umbrella of the TTTech Group) on developments for autonomous driving and safety applications for the off-highway sector. One of the milestones for the collaboration was working on Audi’s zFAS platform control unit that entered series production in 2018.

TTTech Auto and TTControl integrate Infineon’s AURIXTM chip series in several of their products. TTTech Auto currently supports them in its flagship product, MotionWise, a series-proven software platform for automated driving for level 3 and above. AURIXTM Generation 1 and 2 family chips support this highly optimized solution for safety-critical systems in the automotive industry. TTControl equips its advanced connectivity platform TTConnect 616 with AURIXTM because of its variety of interfaces, including CAN and Ethernet and its security features. The AURIXTM chip will also be used in a new ECU platform that is currently being developed.
