TTTech Computertechnik AG will announce at the occasion of the Geneva Motor Show a technical partnership with a German premium car maker for the introduction of a highly innovative electronic architecture to be used in automotive applications.

The "Time-Triggered" electronics architecture will be the basic platform for a number of key automotive innovations, ranging from integrated vehicle control systems, electromechanical brake and steering systems (brake-by-wire and steer-by-wire”) to new applications in the area of "collision avoidance“. In its field of expertise TTTech offers with TTP a standard, which meets the stringent safety requirements of the aerospace industry.

The main advantages of this time-triggered system are new opportunities in functionality at the highest level of safety and comfort. The co-operation between TTTech and the German premium car makers brings the vision of the adaption of the already established "fly-by-wire" technology to drive-by-wire applications within close reach.
