The TTEEnd System Controller Space is an integrated device supporting three traffic classes: standard Ethernet, rate-constrained* and time-triggered SAE AS6802 standard compliant communication. Three different host interfaces (SPI, PCI and SpaceWire) provide the flexibility to connect the TTEEnd System Controller Space to different CPUs or FPGAs. The controller supports up to three Ethernet channels for reliable applications where redundancy is needed. All ports are able to support 10/100 Mbit/s as well as the full 1 Gbit/s line rate. The chip is based on a radiation hardened design process and packaged in a hermetic housing for the necessary radiation tolerance needed in harsh space environments.
