TTEthernet hardware provides architecture level building blocks for integrating a deterministic high-speed fault-tolerant communication system. The TTEPCIe Card brings the full power of time-triggered Ethernet communication technology to the PCI express form factor.

It is a PCI express (PCIe) card for network communication and enables real-time Ethernet communication between an embedded computer and TTEthernet Switches for redundant channels in a safety-critical system. Besides from time-triggered traffic, also rate-constrained and standard Ethernet traffic are supported. TTEPCIe Card is built using a TTEXMC Card and a passive PCIe COTS carrier board.

The card transmits time-critical and safety-critical data in a 100% deterministic way and according to a predefined schedule. It is compatible with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, allowing data traffic with a bandwidth of up to 1 Gbit/s per connection.

TTEPMC/XMC LabView Integration

The TTEPMC/XMC LabView Driver package provides Virtual Instruments for National Instrument's LabView that support loading the TTEthernet Network Interface Card (NCI) configurations, sending/receiving messages, and gathering NIC status information in the LabView environment. Operating system platforms supported are Windows XP SP3 and NI ETS 2009.
