Solution Architect (m/f/d)
As a member of the Solution Architecture team in the Safety Products division, you will shape our main product offering - the safety platform for autonomous driving. As a technical expert, you take care to translate the functional product vision into a high-level software architecture that guides the agile development teams and is fit for future needs.Your Tasks
- Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the product solution
- Validate technological assumptions and evaluate alternatives
- Be the deciding authority on technological & architectural topics
- Define high-level product architecture and requirements, with particular focus on non-functional aspects
- Define, explore, and support the prioritization and implementation of solution enablers
- Plan and develop the Architectural Runway
- Provide technical leadership
- Develop and oversee the integration and validation strategy of the solution
- Design and implement the deployment strategy
- Manage and mitigate technology-related risks
- Support effort and complexity estimation
Your Profile
- 5-10 years of experience with complex software and system architectures, especially within the Automotive domain, or related domains (e.g., aerospace, robotics)
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns (client server, event driven architecture, service-oriented architecture, ...)
- Broad knowledge about general software/system engineering methods along the whole V-model (requirements analysis, specification, design, implementation, validation, verification, ...)
- Broad knowledge about relevant communication and middleware technologies (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, DDS, ...)
- Excellent ability to think abstractly (e.g. creating simplified views on complex problems)
- Experienced in modeling embedded/real-time software systems
- Good skills in modeling methods and languages (e.g. UML, SysML, DSLs, IDLs, ...)
- Broad knowledge about relevant software platforms and/or operating systems: e.g. Classic/Adaptive AUTOSAR, ROS, QNX, Linux, ...
- Good programming skills
- Knowledge about object-oriented design patterns
- Knowledge about continuous integration and continuous deployment methodology
- Knowledge about relevant process standards like ASPICE and/or ISO 26262
- Practical work experience in/with Agile teams and/or scaled agile frameworks

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 60,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
