Software Tools Developer (m/f/d)
As a passionate Software Tools Developer, you will work as part of an agile team. The team owns the E2E responsibility for their products and tools. You are supposed to contribute to the complete software life cycle. Main activities include design and implementation of features, maintenance of the existing code base, documentation, testing, integration, and deployment of solutions.Your Tasks
- Work on product development within the area of automated driving
- Focus on the development of a toolkit for MotionWise, our series-proven safety software platform
- Help to make our tools and software in the loop (SiL) solution a major selling point of MotionWise
- Collaborate in an agile team to refine requirements for new feature requests
- Continuously improve the quality of our software
- Share and broaden your knowledge and experiences within your team, providing guidance for software projects and creating new solutions
Your Profile
- University degree in a technical field of study -- preferably with reference to computer science
- Professional experience in software development
- Knowledge in programming (Python, C, C++ 14)
- Experience in software architecture is beneficial
- Quality awareness (clean code, software craftsmanship, test driven development) & knowledge of modern programming paradigms
- Classic and/or Adaptive AUTOSAR knowledge is a plus
- Flexibility, curiosity, and self-motivation are among your strengths
- A good command of English, and German is an advantage

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 49,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
