Senior Project Management Expert (m/f/d)

In this exciting and multi-faceted position in the Project Management Office Automotive you will be responsible for establishing project management best practices within the organization, aligning project management processes, tools and methods, as well as supporting our project managers and project teams to perfectly master their projects

Your Tasks

  • Lead the Project Management “Community of Practice”
  • Act as coach and mentor for project managers and project teams in both development- and customer projects and ensure that they follow best practices during project execution
  • Develop and optimize project management related processes, as well as related organizational changes and manage their rollout
  • Provide consulting and support in terms of processes, tools, templates, and methods
  • Support the introduction of standardized information and reporting systems for projects, programs and portfolios in TTTech Auto
  • Set up and manage process governance; Monitor process performance and trigger improvements in key metrics
  • Manage the communication of PM related news to project managers and other internal customers
  • Align activities with the TTTech Global PMO and with Project Management Officers in other regions (Iberia, CEE, China, …)
  • Represent the Project Management Office Automotive in meetings with focus on project management and related activities

Your Profile

  • Minimum 6 years experience in managing large and complex projects (both Waterfall and Agile)
  • Strong business development and leadership skills
  • Good understanding of software development technologies, architectures and processes
  • Ideally certification as project manager (minimum IPMA Level C or PMI-PMP)
  • Agile mindset and knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe); Ideally agile certifications
  • Knowledge in automotive quality and safety standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262) is a plus
  • Ideally experience in managing/working in PMOs
  • Ideally Coaching and Mentoring experience
  • Ability to guide and promote change
  • Strong problem solving and excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated personality with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent command in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 10 %

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 60.000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
