Research Engineer (m/f/d) – Embedded Software

Are you passionate about autonomous mobility and IoT? Then this role might be just for you. You will contribute to the further development of TTTech solutions and research activities.

Your Tasks

  • Adaption and further development of TTTech solutions in line with defined research objectives in the areas of Autonomous mobility, Connectivity and IoT
  • Focus on embedded and/or cloud-based SW development
  • Preparation of research reports that document the achieved research results
  • Participation in research projects on various national and international levels (e.g., EU, FFG, etc.)
  • Participation in project meetings, conferences, and similar events

Your Profile

  • Bachelor or Masters degree (or comparable) in computer science/ computer engineering / electrical engineering (or similar)
  • PhD degree in computer engineering/science (or similar) is beneficial
  • Know-how in software development and in particular embedded SW development
  • Interest in applied research and development
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) as well as technical writing

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 40,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
