Key Account Manager – Japan (m/f/d)

As Key Account Manager Japan you will be in close alignment with our TTTech Japan team and cooperate with our technical project managers. Your Tasks

  • Business development and sales management to win Japan based automotive key accounts
  • Engagement in commercial project execution to enable reliable revenue forecasting
  • Mid-term revenue planning for assigned customers and respective business cases
  • Development and implementation of individual sales strategies
  • Drive targeted acquisition of strategically relevant new customers in cooperation with our technical pre-sales organization
  • Competent advising of customers and the sale of innovative and complex solutions for automotive series projects
  • Independent offer preparation in cooperation with the bid management team
  • Offer presentation and solution-oriented, commercial negotiation
  • Legal negotiations in alignment with the legal department
  • Continuous maintenance of the sales forecast

Your Profile

  • Completed degree with a technical and/or commercial focus
  • Significant work experience within a Japanese ecosystem
  • At least 5 years of experience in the technical sales of large B2B projects, ideally in the automotive (supply) industry
  • Established network in the Japanese automotive industry to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers is an advantage
  • Professional appearance, solution-oriented and strong communication skills
  • Excellent Excel and Power Point skills
  • High degree of customer and market orientation
  • Team player with a high degree of assertiveness
  • Proactive way of working, strong execution and self-motivation
  • Willingness to travel to Japan (up to 40%) with respect to COVID regulations
  • Very good English is a must, Japanese skills a very strong asset; German would be an advantage

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 60,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
