(Junior) Test Engineer – Off-Highway (m/f/d)
Together with a team of experts you will be part of our project team for the off-highway area and will develop new and maintain our existing test benches and test frameworks. We are looking for a committed, proactive and reliable team player with an independent and precise way of working with first experience in software development and electronic/electric systems and knowledge of software and/or system testing.
Your Tasks
- Define test concepts and test equipment for software and system tests
- Develop software and system tests
- Develop and continuously improve the test environment to ensure a high level of test automation
- Execution of test procedures
- Analysis and documentation of test results
- Supervision of test laboratories including calibration
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test methods and processes
Your Profile
- Technical education (HTL, FH, TU)
- Good knowledge of programming in Python
- Experience in C programming is a plus
- Hands-on experience with electronic/electric systems and lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Power Supplies)
- Hands-on experience with assembly, soldering, wiring
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) is a plus
- Very good communication skills English

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 40,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
