IT Systems Engineer – Storage & Virtualization (m/f/d)
Curiosity and passion for high-tech innovation! To strengthen our team, we are looking for experts in the area of virtualization and storage. As part of the internal IT Systems Operation Team, you will extend our Storage & Virtualization Operations competence group and continuously optimize and develop our internal infrastructure.
Your Tasks
- Maintaining as well as further developing of our local virtual environments (VMWare, NetApp, ESXi, Nutanix, Veeam, NetBackup)
- Problem fixing and troubleshooting
- Keeping track of resource usage
- Continuous optimization of performance and expansion of the environment
- Maintaining our backup system of the on-prem infrastructure together with our partners
Your Profile
- Completed technical education (HTL, University, FH or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Know-how in the field of virtualization (VMWare)
- Experience in the planning, design and migration of virtual environments
- Independent and structured way of working
- Committed team player
- Good English skills, German would be a plus

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 45,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
