Field Application Engineer – Off-Highway in Japan (m/f/d)
In this position you will support leading Off Highway OEMs and their suppliers during development and integration of TTControl´s electronic control unit ('ECU') for special purpose vehicles such as construction machineries, excavators, cranes, or fire-fighting vehicles.
Your Tasks
- Provide TTControl’s ECU introduction to potential customers as pre-sales activities
- Understand customer needs and align ECU requirements between customers and TTTech product team, in particular with respect to Hardware and application Software
- Provide proposals of TTControl’s ECU and solution to potential customers
- Support customers in deployment of TTControl’s ECUs
- Support customers by taking care of technical questions in close communication with engineers at TTTech and TTControl Headquarters in Europe
- Support customers by providing production and quality related information in close communication with TTTech and TTControl Headquarters in Europe
Your Profile
- University or equivalent degree for technical studies (e.g. Computer Science, Electronics)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development using mainly C language, Python or other languages
- Knowledge of Embedded Systems (Software and Hardware)
- Knowledge and experience of Functional Safety (ISO26262, ISO13849, etc.) of advantage
- Good skills to communicate with customers for pre-sales and in projects
- Proactive and positive team player to work inside an international company
- Very good English and Japanese language skills
- Willingness to travel, high flexibility
