Business Lead – Safety Expert Team (m/f/d)
In this exciting function you will develop business with our international customers and grow a worldwide group of Safety Consultants working in the field of safe and highly automated driving. You will engage with customers, lead and supervise the execution of challenging customer projects in the transition from fail-silent to fail-operational systems, with focus on safety architectures, processes and implementation. You will be overall responsible for building up our Safety Consulting Group, defining the organization and the regional allocation, supporting worldwide recruiting and developing the teams’ capabilities and competencies. To ensure an easy take off and perfect integration into the company we will provide an intensive onboarding in our headquarters in Vienna, in order to gain a deep understanding of our technology and connect you to the relevant teams.
Your Tasks
Buildup and management of the TTTech Auto Safety Consulting Group with P&L responsibility for the team and executed projects. This assignment includes the following activities:- Buildup a group of worldwide operating experts, develop and ensure the team’s superior knowhow basis for ADAS/AD system safety architectures and processes
- Be responsible for the Safety Consulting group’s offering, steer customer acquisition together with our sales department
- Engage with customers and define offer scope, milestones, and cost estimates
- Supervise your project teams, focusing on project execution in time, on budget and towards superior customer satisfaction
- Plan and execute the group’s yearly budget and midterm business case, in cooperation with Controlling
- Closely collaborate with our HR, Sales, Product Development and Customer Projects teams, and the regional management of TTTech Auto’s worldwide locations
- Represent the Safety Consulting Group through contributions to conferences and journals, and become a recognized member of the Automotive safety community
Your Profile
- Solid experience in safety relevant systems and SW development in the Automotive domain
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, enjoy buildup of international teams and inter-cultural cooperation
- Experience in the acquisition and successful management of development projects on the vehicle, ECU and SW levels, with focus on advanced technologies and innovative architecture concepts
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking, emphasize customer value
- Good understanding of the architecture and development processes for highly automated driving and ADAS systems
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600)
- Authentic, respectful, and encouraging leadership attitude, experience in building up and leading teams of technical experts
- Team player and hands-on approach
- Strong intercultural and communication skills
- Degree in a related technical field of study, Master’s or above preferred
- Excellent command of English; German or Chinese is a plus

Additional information for Austria: We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 80,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
