Project Description

This project addresses the development of a control unit platform that allows the first step towards autonomous operation of safety-related equipment and vehicles. The resulting control device is intended to provide an efficient internet connection and will be equipped with or without a display. A software package facilitating the integration of the controller in customer systems will be developed together with an innovative Internet Service Access Module (ISAM). This is a software package that provides sufficient safety guarantees against internet attacks from the outside as well as permits reliable monitoring, control and monitoring of systems from a certain distance. In this way, the fundament towards autonomous off-highway vehicles and industrial facilities will be enforced.
