The 2-day tools workshop is a tutorial with hands-on exercises for different design processes. The course covers the Simulink-based approach and the two-level design approach. Participants work on PCs and learn how tools are used to design, implement, and validate time-triggered systems.
The following topics will be discussed:
- Reducing time-to-market by modeling functions and time-triggered communication with MATLAB/Simulink and other third-party tools, such as the SCADE Suite from Esterel Technologies
- Master design of key system interfaces and communication scheduling
- Introduction on TTP-based system architecture design
- Minimizing effort for design of fault-tolerant systems by distributing and replicating functions
- Design of fault-tolerant distributed systems using fault-tolerant communication layer
- Enabling seamless system integration, concurrent engineering and design sharing among OEMs, integrators and suppliers using available design tools
The tools workshop is available on request.
