Sales Engineer
TTTech Computertechnik AG is the technology leader for time-triggered systems in the aerospace and automotive industry. We are looking for a
Sales Engineer (f/m)
with the aim to strengthen our market position in USA with your excellent technical expertise. After having been intensively trained on our technologies in our headquarters in Vienna, Austria, you will support our Sales Team in the US, being based in California. To ensure that the needs of both our customers as well as from TTTech are continuously met, you will liaise regularly with all members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as services, R&D departments, and quality, both in our subsidiary as in the headquarters.
Tasks
- Manage and interpret technical requirements - speak with our customers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
- Prepare technical offers and calculate customer quotations
- Negotiate technical tender and contract terms in close cooperation with the sales managers
- Develop and grow long-term relationships with our customers
- Attend trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Support the project set-up process for contracts received
Requirements
- Technical background in electronics/computer science
- Several years of experience in the Aerospace domain<
- Skilled in sales techniques
- Good commercial understanding
- Outstanding communication skills
- Customer-oriented and flexible personality
- Prepared for frequent travel within the US and for longer trips to the headquarters in Europe
