The automotive industry is currently on the verge of introducing electronics and software technology into commercial production: the integration of complex vehicle dynamics functionalities requires higher bit rates, more reliability and modular software architectures. This is why the innovative time-triggered FlexRay communication bus and the new AUTOSAR software standard will be used.
As project engineer automotive you will support leading automotive manufacturers in designing, specifying and implementing FlexRay-based and AUTOSAR-based modules in vehicles. You will work with leading automotive manufacturers in Southern Germany and participate in their commercial production projects for premium vehicles.

As project engineer automotive you will support leading automotive manufacturers in designing, specifying and implementing FlexRay-based and AUTOSAR-based modules in vehicles. You will work with leading automotive manufacturers in Southern Germany and participate in their commercial production projects for premium vehicles.
Tasks
- Design, development and validation of bus functionalities (integration, diagnosis, flashing) based on FlexRay in vehicles and test setups
- Specification and development of embedded software components in compliance with new automotive standards (AUTOSAR) as well as Customer support for integration of vehicles
- Customer support for application and integration of our FlexRay and AUTOSAR design tools
- Coordination between our customers and our headquarters in Vienna
- Assignments at leading automotive manufacturers and suppliers in Southern Germany
Requirements
- Relevant university degree
- Experience with automotive microcontrollers and communications modules
- Experience in programming embedded software in C and assembler
- Experience with automotive tools and bus systems (FlexRay, CAN) beneficial
- Accurate and self-dependent work style
- Commitment to and talent for customer contact
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiasm for cars
