Junior Application Engineer
This application engineering position will support the distribution of world class products by working together with our customers and system integration partners to apply these products over a wide range of mobile equipment as well as the development of CoDeSys enhancements.
Job Description
- Work with and support customers in North America.
- Applications typically in construction, utility equipment and mining.
- Help defining system requirements together with customers and system integrators.
- Programming with and development of enhancements to CoDeSys
Skills Required
- 2-4 year degree in automation, embedded controls or related engineering studies
- Communicative, second language desirable.
- Programming skills:
- PLC programming IEC (6)1131, C programming
- Familiarity with bus technologies and topologies:
- CANopen, J1939
- Profi-Bus or DeviceNet
- Ethernet IP
- Time-triggered/TDMA
- Excellent understanding of hydraulic circuits.
- Self-motivation.
- Travel to and support customers in the US, Canada and Mexico
