Family-owned LADOG-Fahrzeugbau und Vertriebs-GmbH is a renowned German manufacturer of narrow-gauge and compact vehicles. LADOG approached TTControl's partner in Germany, Hydac International, in order to implement a future-proof direct drive for some of their municipal vehicles.

Hydac and TTControl managed a highly successful project in tandem. Starting with a comprehensive hazard and risk analysis, the joint team took the innovative concept from testing with hardware in the loop to final implementation on a HY-TTC 90, our general purpose control unit for applications that require functional safety according to either IEC 61508 or ISO 13849.     

While this Performance Level C project proved to be an ideal use case for the safety-certified HY-TTC 90, the other members of our compact TTC 50 controller family are also particularly well-suited for the requirements of municipal vehicles - whether it is the control of valves for water flow, for rotating brushes, or for the positioning of blades or mowers.
